So in my Fundamentals of Music class today, teachers playing a piece from PRINCE OF EGYPT and we have to write stuff on the board as we listen so I put "sounds like Zimmer"

    and he's like...."What's that?"

    And I say "...composer..."

He says "Oh what did he compose?"

    "Gladiator...lots of films"

    "Yeah, they have similar styles"

So during my lunch hour, I go on IMDB, and who composes the score? Yep, Hans Zimmer.

I think its funny that he had no idea what I was talking about and the cd was right in front of him.

I don't konw, maybe he had a CDR? Maybe it was a songtrack and didn't have Zimmer's name prominent?

    That is a fun story.

I was watching a student teacher a few years ago. The students were studying mysteries in literature and film. She introduced North By Northwest and said, "Alfred Hitchcock composed some great opening music." Zonk!
