I don't own a single thing! Some of the pieces in the video at the Oscars were so moving...I wanna get some of them.
Suggestions welcome!

It's too bad most of everything released in the US is currently discontinued....But first:
The Mission
The Untouchables
Cinema Paradiso
I always love listening to the "Legendary Italian Westerns" comp on RCA:

Those four would be a good start to the Hollywood Morricone. There are hundreds of Italian soundtracks that have been released as well.posted 02-25-2007 11:39 PM PT (US)

I'm sure most caught Morricone's "Legend of the Pianist on the Ocean" used in the Through-the-years Foreign Film montage...though I thought it bore mention again here.

It was a great cue...what score or disc is it from? Also, in "The Holiday" there is some Morricone when Jack Black's character is in his car...what score is that from?

Brian you're a disgrace to this forum. Head over to Peter's store and start ordering. Even if it's compilations.

LOL... "even if it's compilations"!!What does Chrono/Kyp deserve after admitting such folly? Mob treatment w/bumps, bruises, scars, the works? Or pity, or banishment? Or permanent "non-standard userererer" status?

Great compilation: http://www.moviemusic.com/soundtrack/enniomorriconeatstceciliaThese are amongst the best CDs I own.
