Wasn't this released in Japan only? Maybe it's a little tougher to get or just not worth it. Otherwise, I'd love to see Peter stock up on "The Touch".

I would think that Peter would need to mark these up quite a bit to make any sort of profit on them. Screen Archives has it listed for $29.95 before shipping, while the retail price in Japan is considerably lower. Just compare these prices:Granted it will take a lot longer to arrive if you order it from Play-Asia, but it's also a whole lot cheaper. And if you want it faster but still at a good price you may want to try Amazon Japan, who have lately been getting my orders to me as fast as anyplace I've ordered from within the Continental US. After shipping, I'd say the Silvestri disc would cost somewhere around $25 from there.
Regarding The Touch, I'm pretty sure this has been out of print in China for quite awhile, so it's probably pretty hard to come by now.

Unfortunately, I am not pursuing Japanese imports for the MM store right now. Not enough people asking for it, and the dollar is trading poorly these days. I'll try and get some in... I know I can beat the SAE price. Probably around $25...Thanks for axkin.

Is this even a movie soundtrack? Maybe that's why it was passed over.... It looks like it's music for a parade?! I try to keep a focus with the store. Although a few non-soundtrack pieces have squeezed through here now and again, you won't find very many. I'll still get some for anyone who wants.... "lemme kno"!

Yeah, it's for some kind of Japanese Disney parade or live event. Alan Silvestri did the music but it's intertwined with random Japanese singing. I'm a huge Silvestri fan, but I really wouldn't recommend this one.Nevertheless, I saw it on Amazon.com selling for $22.95 for those still interested.

But people north of the USA have connections too... perhaps all the wrong ones.
Stargate, sometimes it works... sometimes it doesn't! I was surprised myself by the turnaround. Then again, Japan does have that approximately 18 hour advantage over the USA.On the flipside, the Italians must have sent Sodom & Gomorrah (the new 2CD limited edition) around the globe three or four times... it cost me 10 times as much to ship, and took 10 times longer. Barf.
