If any band loves Morricone, it's a band named Estradasphere. I saw them live here in Atlanta playing some work of Nina Rota as well as their original stuff (greatly influenced by Rota, Morricone, and Bernard Herrmann). I keep on meaning to bring them up to you guys, but I always forget.Metallica? Listen, you guys payed tribute to "The Ecstacy of Gold" on S&M with Kamen behind the baton of the orchestra; and the song sounded glorious. You know why? Because Michael Kamen was conducting an orchestra and you're sorry excuse for metal music hadn't chimed in yet. Too bad they didn't keep it that way.

But Quincy Jones and Herbie Hancock doing "The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly" together might warrant a digital download.
