Now I'm confused. Is it a recording with the RSNO that was never released?

That is a good price. Is there anything new on there or is it the same as the three releases previously issued? J.

What the hell? Didn't US MARSHALS come out in 1998? I forget when ALONG CAME A SPIDER came out, but it was far from his last score. Are you sure it's those three? TIMELINE, NEMESIS and LOONEY TUNES would make more sense (seeing that they're the last three that Goldsmith actually did). They're all Varese, too.

Maybe a followup set , "Jerry Goldsmith: The Final Recordings vol 2" will follow, including music from CHAIN REACTION, THE GREAT TRAIN ROBBERY and OUR MAN FLINT.

No no, Dinko is misinformationing you!The package is Looney Tunes, Nemesis and Timeline, all repackaged with no new material. If you own these CDs already, this should be something you skip... uh, unless you are a crazy Goldsmith fan who must own everything ever released, even if already previously released (maybe this is who VS is really targeting! wink wink).

What Varese should do is give Star Trek Nemesis a complete score release...

Blossoming Goldsmith fans, or Goldsmith fans who have holes in their collections, should be thanking Mr. Varese, or Mr. Sarabande!

LOL, I guess I should have expected that one... at least regarding Mr Varese. How about "the NEW Mr. Varese"?Mr. Sarabande is a spirit that will never die... as long as music lives!
