Hello peeps,Those of you who are heavily into the blogosphere may already know that there is a small group of people out there who are using their weblogs to promote their favourite soundtracks.
Now that the technology is sufficiently advanced, a couple have now also started posting downloads of OOP or rare music. They are a godsend whether you've been looking for a particular score for ages, or just looking to expand your collection with some really off-the-wall stuff. The quality (192 kbps and upwards) is generally very good, too.
It's important to note that most, if not all, of these guys play by the rules, so you shouldn't find anything on there that is commercially available. If you do come across something that is a bit hot, DON'T TOUCH IT and let the author of the page know - they will normally remove it straightaway.
Here are some of the best places to go:

Oh, so that's the thanks I get. Chill. There will be plenty more down the line if they do disappear, which I doubt.

Okay, so today, I went to the supermarket because I really enjoy a nice, cold bottle of spring water (preferably Evian) but as I searched madly throughout the aisle, my sweet bottles were no where. I quickly gathered my wits and asked a manager what had come to be of the sweet, precious commodity "water" and he replied that the world is running short of water and it has become the new gold; he did suggest that if I needed to buy things, they would trade water for whatever good I needed (as long as it wasn't water). I quickly hopped into my 1973 Ford Falcon XB GT Coupe and sped off in search of a near-by water supply. After a daring and dangerous car chase with Bruce Spence (apprently he wanted oil to power his Gyro-copter, he mentioned something about the guy in those police mugshots from a few weeks back) I finally came across a camp filled with survivors. They were weary of what had happened (apperently in the last couple of hours because I was watching a Project Runway marathon on Bravo!) and considered me a threat. I assured them that all I sought after was a bottle of Evian water. The leader of the camp (who looked like an almost picture-perfect replicant on Ike Turner's woman; Whitney Houston, I think) approached me asking what I knew of this commodity known as "water" and I answered that I simply went to the grocery store while the commercials played seeking a bottle. In her eyes I was crazy; frankly I was just thirsty and the humid temperatures weren't helping at all (and there were no trees to shade me from the beating sun!). After I hooked up with some bitches after playing a few rounds of Halo 2 I went on my way, still searching for that rare item known as "water" (hopefully I'll at least find some Deer Park water).NP> Bobby Darin "Splish Splash"
