http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/images/B000FVBL8O/No update yet on Varese's site, but Amazon seems to have the stuff. amazon is also stating a date of 9.12...we'll see.
Usually if Amazon gets the art like this first, Varese is never far behind.

I love how retailers are such an important source of information. They even out-scoop many bands' fan clubs in terms of releases and schedules.

It's because the labels have been taking advantage of the internet and making direct contact with retailers through corporate web. It's great when it begins to happen as it should. For example, Varese's next bunch is Lost Season 2, All the King's Men (Horner), and some Texas Chainsaw thingamassacre. Info direct from corporate mommy and daddy site. Just no artwork posted yet....
Amazon likely has tons of employees combing these corporate sites with greater resources than other (smaller) retailers. Smaller retailers are busy selling (maybe a priority issue!).

Hopefully it won't be a short release. Thanks Jeffery! I hope, too, that the release won't be too short. Usually, I'm not much of a fan of sound design and ambient underscore, but in Jablonsky's hands, it was very moody and effective. I used some cues in a short film in high school and my teacher really dug the music.

Is this Stargate release going to be more music, remastered music, or both?

Hopefully more, and hopefully arranged into slightly longer suites. With around 30 tracks on the first release, it was hard to maintain any type of momentum.I know animated scores are arranged in short snippets, owing to the often frantic nature of the film.
