    Thanks for the news, JEC.

Argh, Varese themselves are now predicting the quick disappearance of titles... which only adds to the fire. I hope no one has to buy food next week!

Nah. Fanpersons born after 1980 don't buy Golden Age stuff conducted by past-away people. (Some Australian exceptions apply).

And the Varèse CD club is overhyped and rarely as interesting as FSM, IMHO fo cuorse.

Not really. Currently the only Australian names that come to mind are Viduka and Cahill.

This is going to sound stupid since I have only been interested in movie scores for about a year and a half (and the club ones from last year were basically sold out,) but are there any special things you need to do to order these CDs? I ask only because of the word "Club" being in there. Sorry for noobing it up. Also, this happens once a year correct? Does someone have a link with info or anything like that I can check out? Even though. I am anticipating the announcement of the CDs though since I know the jist of what the Varese Club announcements are about.., =P.

All you'll need to do is make an account with the site (similar to Amazon.com or many other e-tailers). Even then, you can add the CDs to your shopping cart and create one at checkout.

I snatched up An Unfinished Life right away, but the rest I can comfortably do without. I'm not disappointed, though, as this was an interesting set of release, and I always enjoy learning more about these titles and going through the audio samples.

I picked up Sky Bandits & An Unfinished Life.

Decided to grab The Ballad Of Cable Hogue and The Virgin Queen as well.

Part of me really likes it when they release CDs like this. It's a chance to find some true hidden gems (Varese helped me really get into Conti and some older Goldsmith scores back in the day). I'm somewhat on the fence about buying some of them as funds are very tight at the moment, but "Sky Bandits" is probably going to be in my shopping cart within a few hours...

I hope the other titles can stick around for a little while.

EDIT: "Sky Bandits" has a very Goldsmith-ian sound to it based on the clips. "Cowboy Chase" reminds me of some his action music for "Wild Rovers" or "Rio Conchos".

And Chris Young's An Unfinished Life beats Sky Bandits across the Sold Out finish line. That took longer than I'd expected.

Romancing the Stone & The Ballad Of Cable Hogue went bye bye. Magic is down to less than 50.

I put in an order for Sky Bandits and An Unfinished Life here at MM. I think I got the last Unfinished Life because I don't see the Add to Cart link anymore!

They're called Buysoundtrax.com. Quick, order your Joe Versus the Volcano for $70 where there is no shame and money grows on trees.

Ok, I'll admit I bought quite a few, but they are being sold for the regular markup. I want to remain friends with my customers.

Stargate, you did! Everyone else who's written in requesting copies, you got 'em, but now I'm all out, barely snagged one for myself. Thanks for the orders guys... glad to be your safety net.

Geez, "Sky Bandits & An Unfinished Life" are already sold out.

Varese Europe (www.colosseum.de) still has them.
