Lo, your wish is granted - it's called Hawk the Slayer and it truly is something to behold. No Edie Gourmet though.

Mark, the problem with the 4th Indy Jones film is that Harrison and Connery will be 100 the time they get it filmed. J.

    I want...

...the ondes martenot to be used in more scores...

...Amotz Plessner to be better known...

...Disney, Paramount, and Universal to less tight-fisted about their music...

...David Newman, Alan Silvestri and Danny Elfman (for starters) to have well-deserved Oscars...

    ...to attend several scoring sessions...

...to date a supermodel... (off the subject, I know, but so what?)

    Neat topic.

This seemed like such an innocent post at first glance. I'll be honest and say that I thought we'd have to electrocute someones testes to get a humorous reply in the same vain as the infamous gumdrops1; but alas, it has risen to over two pages!

    You're right, of course, John.

Which is why the filmmakers are almost certain to introduce someone younger (probably some knucklehead like Ashton Kutcher) as, say, Indy's long-lost illegitimate son. Or something.

If the film's story is sufficiently vapid and superficial - you know, lacking in real scope or substance - maybe Hans Zimmer will agree to take over scoring, given the way he feels about film music! Yay! It could be a "homage" to some piece of more substantial, classical music, and maybe make some money for the family of the late composer whose piece it is based on! Yay!

Ugh! I can just see it: The Adventures of Indy's Son 4. How many times can they remake the same movie after all? But I suppose we have to get The Adventures of Geriatric Indy first. Is Harrison Ford going to use a cane instead of a whip & out-race the bad guys in a wheelchair?

Hey, if they do decide to do some type of "Indy's son" crap, then I wouldn't mind seeing Ryan Reynolds take over the role. Anyone else see where I'm going with this?
