    Look at this:
    http://www.tagworld.com/snakesonaplane

Widening the rift between movie songs that might actually means something and songs hunted down and used in a movie without any merit other than to get bands to sign up on a website. Did I read it right?

LOl my sister told me about this movie. The premise is bizzare, but at least it has Samuel L. Jackson as a loud talking angry Black man...again.

Yes, Jackson's really become typecast playing black people.

Well, Peter, you have to agree that a "contest" to get songs into this film by some complete amateur is in perfect synch with the artistic ambitions of the film itself!

Snakes on a Plane has already become one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year simply from the fan boy internet buzz and frankly I'm going to enter Sean's and mine's band, Why the Hell Can't We Start a Freaking Script Together, into this fantabulous contest.

    Oy Michael!

Sweeping goes in the general direction, I guess, but more than anything, a good melody is a must for me in movie songs. Good lyrics are a bonus, too...

    How're things Down Under?

"The audio bit uses a Jackson sound-alike shouting, "I want these mother snakes off the mother plane!" "

What a hoot. And to think that Shakespeare (yes, pre-aviation) or an infinite number of monkeys didn't pen that. Cinema just gets better and better.
