There is this swing/big-band era song that is played in the background during one of the bar scenes in A Beautiful Mind. This song is also played during the dueling practice scene of Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban.

I've never known the name of this piece of music or the artist that created it. For 10+ years now I've tried to find the name of this song to no avail.

If anyone could name that tune I would be ultra-happy.

    Thank you for any help!

    Hi NukePenguins...

If you are certain the song was used in both movies, it might be worth the time to rent the movies and head back to the end credits and see which song is listed in both credits. Chances are that's the one you want.

    Good luck,

Those are the listings of the songs in the movie. Not a single song is listed on both pages so I am guessing that it's 2 different songs.
