You know I'm sure many here have seen the Lost In Space Movie as I have. I for one thought the movie was OKAY, nothing specatular though.

However I was definitely impressed with Bruce Broughton's score. I loved how he did the theme for the "Spiders" and especially for the Robinson family. I was however disappointed with the lack of music the original 'album' had. The vocal songs were pure crap and could have been eliminated and they could have put more of Broughton's score onto it.

I was very excited to find out one day that Intrada released Bruce Broughton's score for the movie. All though again still a bit disappointed when not all the music was there but still satisified with the music that was missing from the original 'album'.

My favorite cues are: "Smith's Plan", "Facing The Monster", "Attempted Escape" and "Through The Planet".

So who here has the score that Intrada released and likes it?

You know, I haven't listened to this record in a while. I think you may have inspired me to give it another couple of spins, especially with Tombstone coming out soon...

You defintiely should pick it up from Intrada AI. You will not be disappointed by Intrada's release of the score.

Hmm, a dollar less than what you would pay for it directly from Intrada but still it's saving a dollar. Probably would save you shipping too if you ordered it from Peter.

Bruce Broughton's score for Lost in Space, despite the fact it's now (shockingly) 8 years old, is living proof that the maestro's flair for wonderful melodies and overall fresh, creative writing is alive and kicking today. Bambi II is great, too. Bruce Broughton is the most talented composer in film and television, hands down. His lack of big assignments is purely frustrating.
