Maybe I missed the post, but I think these two scores from Buysoundtrax Records haven't been mentioned on the board. Finding Home composed by Joseph Conlan (BSXCD 884) and Madison by Kevin Kiner and Christopher Young (BSXCD 885). I like both scores. Finding Home leans towards some of Thomas Newman's more thematic material. Madison is a nice orchestral score. You could compare it with some of Williams Ross' music. I'd get a copy. There's only 1000 each.

I don't remember much talk about these scores, either. MADISON is a very enjoyable score, in the vein of RUDY.

We have the hydroplane races on the Columbia River each year, so we rented Madison. Yes, I thought the music was quite good.

They're not terribly novel, but they're good scores.
