Of course, I'm hoping for some soundtracks. I specifically requested the
two CD Elmer Bernstein compilation. As usual, I don't want an iron, frying pan,
crock pot, but I was a little more pragmatic this year and asked Santa for a
thin flat computer screen. (and the two disk DVD of The Phantom of the Opera.)
I'm losing my edge not requesting jewelry, perfume, and clothing. Maybe next
    year.

    Your wish list?

Hey Timmer, you can ask for it all. I'm asking Santa to send me a copy of Shore's King Kong, which isn't going to happen. (Still, we did for a while get to hear Yared's Troy.)

    Yeah Cat, get it ALL!

Wow, what great CD's people are asking for.
    Hope Santa helps.

Well, it better happen mom Joan, this is Santa's last chance to prove he exists?!

I'm still fumming that he ignored last years request of 'Sue's' 40 + ft long Tyrannosaurus skeleton, 1 measly % of Bill Gates's wealth (now c'mon that ain't tooooo much to ask?) and a life time subscription of TV weekly.

    Santa's on borrowed time!!

Eh, my families doing that stupid "Chinese Christmas" **** , so I'm only getting one present. I sure hope it's worth it.

Anyways, my roomie and I will still be celebrating Christmas and he knows that I want the LotR: tFotR Complete Soundtrack so that's what I'll be expecting. Now, I need to nab me a girlfriend before the big day and score some more OSTs.

I might ask for DVDs this year. Film score CDs involve ordering on the Internet (for the ones I really want), and that's SUCH a hassle for my loved ones. Down the fruit market on the other hand, there are SO many glorious movies (with great scores) out, and going cheap.

Or I may ask again for socks. When I ask for CDs I get socks, so asking for socks...

(Same joke as last year, and same as next).

Yahoo, this thread made moviemusic's e mail about filmscores. (I'm famous!) Did I also read in that e mail that PeterK was going to play Santa and send all board members the LOTR package as a gift? Maybe I'd better reread it with my glasses on.

Hey thats what I said to the college kid when he didnt get his Playboy that day. I told him, "well you will just have to show some restraint, wont you?"

My friend Dave said "You didnt say that did you?"

    I told him I sure did. LOL>

The college kid just looked funny for he had no idea what I meant. LOL>

Joan, you worry me. That email went to many 10000s of addresses, so I hope I didn't say that? If yes, then we'd have to say buhbye to this message board.... where will lost FSM people go when their website goes down again for the nth time? For shame..... at least everyone would have a complete score, right!

    One more thing....

The best part about sending out a ton of emails is reading all the responses. Here's the one that concerns me the most, it's an AutoReply "out of the office" thing:

"I will be out of the office for the next two weeks. When I return, please refer to me as 'Margaret' instead of Dan."

Yikes! Did Dan really get what he wanted for Christmas??!! Holy Transamerica, Batman!

LOL, PeterK. I put on my glasses, and you are sooooooo safe! (I was truly joking, but I better be careful and not give our moderator seizures for Christmas.) PeterK, your son should be a lot of fun this year for Christmas. He must be able to say "More toys" by now.

Peter you gotta let me know
Should I stay or should I go?
If you say that you are mine
I'll be here 'till the end of time
So you got to let me know
Should I stay or should I go?

    Always tease, tease, tease
You're happy when I'm on my knees
One day is fine, next is black
So if you want me off your back
Well come on and let me know
Should I stay or should I go?

Should I stay or should I go now?
Should I stay or should I go now?
If I go there will be trouble
An' if I stay it will be double
So come on and let me know
Should I stay or should I go?

    This indecision's bugging me
If you don't want me, set me free
Exactly who'm I supposed to be
Don't you know which clothes even fit me?
Come on and let me know
Should I cool it or should I blow?

Should I stay or should I go now?
Should I stay or should I go now?
If I go there will be trouble
And if I stay it will be double
So you gotta let me know
Should I stay or should I go?

That song, London Calling and Rock the Casbah are the only Clash songs that just about anybody knows.

Still that's better than the Dead Kennedys or the Buzzcocks get, not to mention The Slits.

No real point, just thought it was cool to see a punk song on this board!

She has had congestive heart failure, and isnt doing to good at the moment. she is suppose to see her cardiologist for details about her surgery later this week. Just remember her in your prayers, and not to be selfish, but remember me as well, this is really hard right now.
