Is there any reason why this is so hard to find! I only see it for 39.99 used through various outlets!
One of Mancina's best scores in my opinion.posted 11-09-2005 11:20 AM PT (US)

Oh yeah, definitely one of Mancina's best. Sadly, I only have a few track selections on a misc. disc I burned a few years back. I haven't ever thought about actually picking it up, but that $39.99 price tag scares me. I did that about two months ago when I got Chris Young's Hellraiser score off Amazon for around that price only to hear from Peter the day after I got it that they have a trilogy set - with the first two scores by Young and the third by composer Randy Miller - for $34.39 here. So, try not to get burned in finding it and send in e-mail to Peter about the chance of scoring (heh, pun intended) a copy through this site.

Yeah...thats a good point, but since its so rare, I don't think he'll be able to get it much cheaper. Worth a shot though!

I managed to finally get the damn thing through the new and used section on Amazon/Borders. I paid a bit of a hefty price for it but hey it was worth it.

I think all of Atlantic's late '90s score titles are now out-of-print. Off the top of my head that includes MARS ATTACKS!, SPACE JAM and of course, TWISTER.Ryan

There are more than 20 that fit the description....Michael Collins, Time to Kill, Last of the Dogmen, Eraser, Ride with the Devil, 187, Quest for Camelot, Anna Karenina, America's Sweethearts, Liberty Heights, Driven. Fairy Tale is the hardest one to find. Many more yanked...

Whats holding that up from a release? It was released by Varese, but the re-issue was only released in Europe I believe...There's an OST end titles track on this Edel Schwarzenegger/Lungren/Van Damme compilation with loads of cheezy synth renditions and an original track from Cyborg, I love the end credits, its a rip off of Superman and Holst's Mars, but I love it just the same, wish I could hear the whole score! I should just rent the movie. ha.
Here's hoping somebody releases Silva's early pre-Silva America days scores like Masters of the Universe, Moon 44, Alien...posted 11-11-2005 06:39 PM PT (US)

Please, hold off from renting the movie; it's one of those many, "movie blows, the score: fantastic". You know, like Jerry Goldsmith used to churn out? If anybody can handle this type of release, I have faith in Intrada giving us a really special release; or maybe it's in the cards for a Varese club special! Either way, it would be quite a treasure.

Well, there's the Varese release that runs roughly 53 minutes and a few years later Edel/Silva Screen released a 69 minute version of the same score. I have both and I usually listen to whichever one finds my hand first
I know new collectors might want it, but I don't think anyone is going release it again.Besides, if we aer talking Conti, where the hell is The Right Stuff?
But if you want, write me at mwruger@swbell.net and maybe we can work something out. I might be willing to trade the Varese version.Put "Don't Delete ME" in the title or might not know you from the other 70 pieces of crap I get in the mail.

Apparently Edel re-released the expanded one(At least according to amazon.co.uk/amazon.de) in 1995 on their Cinerama label.

Thank god I was able to get conti's masters of the universe I think back in 2000. I was shopping at the mall, going through soundtracks, and there it was for 10.00. True it is a major rip off of holst the planets, and superman, but something about it is still great!!!!
