Hey everyone,
does anybody know why there hasn't been a review at Filmtracks in a while now? I mean, where's Valiant, or even Corpse Bride (after all Clemensen is super crazy with Elfman). Anynody have a clue what's going on?np: Henry V (Doyle, *****/*****)

http://www.filmtracks.com/scoreboard/main.cgi?read=146127In the meantime, given the many years I've spent reading Filmtracks reviews, let me help you with some insight into what he would probably say:
Corpse Bride: Good score, a return to form for Elfman, but tries to capture too much of Nightmare Before Christmas which was really just a campy niche score anyway. ***
Valiant: George Fenton proves again that he is a master of theme and form, though the sections of necessary mickey-mousing wear on the listening experience at times. ***
Oliver Twist: Rachel Portman should be the mother of my children! This is the best score of the year! Beautiful! *****

this site don't have any new reviewSince Clemensen put his polemic review about batman begin.
Simple casuality?
Corpse bride is a mediocre score. No coherent theme, just Elfman's fairytale mode.
this man is so boring...
