I've been listening to this score on and off since it came out, and alot more recently. And it's finally dawned on me that this is a really good score and a really good album. I love the thematic material being weaving in and out of the soundscape. The action passages has a James Horner-esque sound to it yet. The choral passages are beautiful, even the Vida Cor Meum (?) paraphrasing.

I saw the movie once, and all the HGW that made it into the movie, stood out as being really effective under/overscoring .

It's quite an underated score for most people, but it's a A- score for me.
BTW, Gladiator is the A+ score in comparison... though they're both not quite the same "category", per se.

For me it's one of the best scores from this year, along with Starwars III and Batman Begins.Great stuff from Harry Gregson-Williams.
