I haven't seen this one mentioned. It has the potential to be a great score. The movie stars Ralph Fiennes.

    CD is coming Aug 16.

Alberto Iglesias never disappoints. I haven't heard of the film (until now) but I'll buy the score, regardless.

Wholly agree. I always place him among the most talented and gifted composers with unique voice, of our times, along Yared, Kaczmarek, Eidelman and Desplat. I greatly enjoy his every work and this is surely one to look forward to as well. Soundtrack coming indeed in August the 16th, from HIGHER OCTAVE revords (if i get their name right).

It's a real shame that a lot of his pre All About My Mother scores aren't more readily available. Lovers of the Arctic Circle, in particular, is one I'm dying to get my hands on.

I've also been searching for Lovers of the Arctic Circle without luck.

Try eBay for LOVERS OF THE ARTIC CIRCLE. That's where I found mine and it does crop up from time to time.

There is a 2-disc set of Iglesias' music available through JMB Records...a Spanish Label. It is essentially a 10-year retrospective of selections from a variety of his scores including music from "Tierra", "Vacas", "Pasajes", "Dispara", "Carne Tremula," "La Camarera del Titanic," "La Ardilla Roja" and "Los Amantes del Circulo Polar," as well as a couple of scores for Almodovar.

The discs are oddly sequenced from most recent to oldest so you need to kind of play them from the end to the beginning to hear the progression of his talent.
