I didn't count every single minute and second, but this looks like a solid 45 minutes of score. I wonder what this will be like. No eletric guitars to mess up the score.

Wow! The first time (as far as I know) that Rabin has recorded the score at Air Lyndhurst, London. That fact increases my expectations about his music for the film and the score release.

There is 4 audio clips on the Varese web site.

Sound cool, not as much as I was expecting but still.

I'll have to give it a listen with the full score, and especially in the movie before giving it my full appreciation. But for sure, it sound like a very good effort by Rabin, one of his best since long time.

The Rescue track is the only track that sounds like Rabin. But that's a great thing.

Wow, not bad. I`ve never thought that Trevor Rabin is capable of writing such good music

Just saw the movie tonight. Not a bad movie. Better than what I was expecting, especially since it was only in 2 theaters here...which is usualy a bad sign...

The movie could have been a little bit shorter, but still good. As for the score, well...it's definitely not the typical Rabin's score. Far from it. In fact, beside 2 cues that is really in old Rabin's habits (and one doesn't fit the movie imho), the rest is really different, and good. However, don't expect the big action score. The movie itself is far from it...it's more a calm score. From what I remember at least. Unless they decided to put all the action stuff. The end titles is really good, and the overall score really fit the movie. However, don't expect the best score of the summer with that one. And take it cool when Varese talk about a big epic majestic score. Yes, there's some cues like that, but only a small part. But again, this will depend of the selection of the cues on the CD..

Let's hope this one will give Rabin other chances to go in other style than his typical action stuff.

I've always found that to be one of Rabin's big talents - making a score fit a movie. Not everyone can do it right, but I always thought Rabin's scores worked really well with their respective movies.

It's out today. Anybody got it yet? Will have to wait a little here, as Varese releases usually come later here..

    Any feedbacks?

Well, I finally managed to give it a listen (thanks to a very good friend!) before the CD arrive here.

Overall, I really liked the score. I think it's a score that Rabin's fan would like, and that non Rabin's fan might like. It's almost 100% orchestra (except for one cue, and some little bass notes here and there that are barely noticable).

It remind me by moment some good Horner style, some Giacchino as well, and of course, Rabin, but in an Orchestral way (hard to imagine, I know!) Except the cue Rangers Start (which is the one I was refering to in the movie, that I still think doesn't fit with the rest of the score) the whole score is very good.

Nothing new there, won't be mentionned to the oscars neither, but it's a very interresting work from a man we knew almost exclusively for his electronic/rock works.

I give it a 3.5/5 (and without that Ranger Start cue, would give it a 4/5).

Great use of the choirs when he use it (not that much though) nice thematic, well, his best effort so far IMHO. Let's hope he'll have more opportunities to write in that style of music in the future!
