3. Sector 6 2:49
4. Starkweather 4:12
5. Agnate Ukuleles 2:37

Just saw the movie an hour ago. A good movie. But not an excellent movie. It's the average summer blockbuster. Like Mcgregor say in the movie "I wish there was more..." Not more of the action, there was more than enough in this movie...but more of the story that started good, before they forget about it and focused on the action on the screen to blow everything up.
As for the score...don't expect too much. It's a Bad Boys 2 without a memorable theme. Oh well...maybe this little choir motif that we can hear 2-3 times max in the movie...but beside that, it's just techno stuff ala Rabin. However, like every copy, the original is better. Plus, there was 4 additional composers on the movie. With so much inputs in the music creation, I would have expected more original ideas...
Anyway, if you wanted to know what Jablonsky wrote for BB2, just listen to this one, you'll get your answers.

Well another thing to remember is that the director probably had a lot of input on what he wanted the score to be like. As for it being techno-ey, I am sure that was Bay's decission.Clayton

In my opinion, the prominent use of electronics cheapened the movie. It made it sound like a TV series type score and drew too much attention to itself with lame beats. Its also doesn't distinguish itself from any other MV-inspired score from the last 10-15 years, making it boring.

While it does sound like other MV-Scores (and Trevor Rabin's Bad Boys II... Probably cuz Steve wrote a lot of music for that too...) I think it fit the movie (with the exception of the dramatic end music which by itself is probably very good). Anyway this was one of the worst movie going experiences I've ever had. Not because I didn't like the movie (I'd give it a C+) but because there were 5 huge scratches across the film, they stopped it twice, it was out of frame (major league in the 3rd reel) and the managers laughed at me before denying me a refund. Let me just say I'll never be stepping foot in that theater again... But back to the score! I really liked it. I was kinda surprised by the more orchestral stuff. Like I said the dramatic end music was little much, I would've gone with just some strings and left out the percussion.Clayton
