News announced a few weeks back, don't recall seeing it here. This should be of interest, considering the gaming discussions we've seen around these parts lately.Exteel is a new online game from NCsoft (ncsoft.com). Music is by Inon Zur, composer of Prince of Persia, Men Of Valor, Socom II and Champions of Norrath Realms of EverQuest game music. He's also written music heard in recent trailers for Kingdom Of Heaven, The Pacifier and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.

On a related note, have you heard EMPIRE EARTH II (Michael G Shapiro) and EVERQUEST II (Laura Karpman)? Two fantastic game scores released recently. Highly recommended. Karpman's score is almost in Alex North territory!mikael @ mftm

Totally agreed on Everquest II, Mikael. Is there an album release for Empire Earth II?

There is a score CD that comes with the Collector's Edition of the game. I would check on eBay because you ought to be able to find someone who is selling just the CD. That's how I got mine.

Except that it's not. You can get there, but you can't download it. For some, dumb, unknown reason...

Music performed by the Budapest Film Orchestra, conducted by the composer. A nice mix of styles, with thematic material for each area represented in the game. Germany, Korea, the Middle East and the USA. I look forward to hearing more from Michael Shapiro.

I love the choral parts in Empire Earth II, I actually think that the performance by that Hungarian choir is fantastic. The tenors are incredible.
