That one looks cool, and I actually have a contact over at their offices, but I've already bought tix to the Metropolitan Winds concert at the Meyerson on the same day- they're performing John Williams tracks geared mainly around Star Wars. Ticketmaster.com has details.

Man, what a summer with all these film/game music concerts!

Went ahead and got tickets. I wasn't aware you were local Widescreen? Wait a second, I do remember Jeron mentioning you were when I was over his place one day. That's cool

Unbelievable show! They played the pieces along with 3 huge screens showing the full motion video from the games. Fantastic job by the orchestra and choir.

    Justin,

Yep, I'm in the area. I would've liked to check out the Final Fantasy concert- but the Metro Winds John Williams concert was REALLY good. Sadly, there's not enough live FIlm Music performed in Texas, unless something big opens at the box office spawning a pop culture icon in the music category, spawning a high school band halftime show.

But this year, I just don't see anyone marching to Molossus but me.

If you're curious about the Metro Winds performance, they've got a CD I might even get, check it out at www.metropolitanwinds.org

Very well received. Sold out infact. Finale was "One Winged Angel". People kept clapping as the conductor left so he came out and played "One Winged Angel" again. Was fantastic. Played Aeris's theme and most of the recognizables
