Hey! Just wondering if anyone else saw the season finale of "Lost" tonight.I've never seen an episode but it was really interesting and Giacchino's music was FANTASTIC. I hope Varese does something with it. Is all the music in the show that really nice melody string work?

Yes the music was excellent! What bugged me, though, was that we had some weather alerts during the show. The local stations all now have some cute little tone poem they blare out each time they get ready to run the weather alert crawl.Right in the middle of a couple of really good emotional moments, the music was interupted by these tones.
AAArrrrgh!

Great finale! Loved every minute of it. Unfortunately, I had to switch to Non-HD since ABC messed up about 20 minutes before the show was going to end. Non-HD and analog sound? YUCK

...and no, the music is not always like that. He went all out for the pilot and finale and was only ok for the others

That show is a trip. During the regular season I didn't stay with it thru an entire episode, but on Sat evening they consolidated the entire story into a 1 hr review. So, I watched the last 3 hrs. Very good... Twilight Zone in the Pacific!
Was banished to the bedroom TV so my wife could watch American Idol.
Music was right on as well.
