Should've seen that one coming- Fox and Varese have a history together (a good one, I think), John Ottman's last release was Varese, and the last two Marvel film scores that had song albums from Wind-Up records were released on Varese. Deductive reasoning or coincidence? I'll take the latter if the former doesn't work for anybody.

In any event, I really liked John Ottman's work on X-Men 2, and I like what I see in the trailer. So I have a feeling I'll be getting this one.

Best Varese news since quite some time.

    1) Finally a new Eidelman score release.
    2) Ottman did a terrific job on X-Men 2. This is one of my most anticipated scores of the year.
    3) Spy Kids was great. Spy Kids 2 was great. Sin City was fantastic.

I think it's safe to say that the 30 minute score album is history.
