With some months late,i just finished to watch the video from Carptenter visit to hans zimmer's media ventures.
Anyone Know why Carpenter and Franka Potente visited zimmer in his study?
Carpenter in the video seems a little bit...ugly man.
Can anyone explain me something about?
    thanks

I liked how they talked about MV being a "composer factory", and Hans Zimmer using saying something like "he's our featured composer this time".

If you talk about the video seen on http://www.hans-zimmer.com as i think it is, the video is taken from a documentary produced by french-german channel ARTE about actors and director speaking together about lots of subjects while they are visiting a city.

This time, it has been L.A, and M.V as it is one of the main place for german in Hollywood, title of another documentary about german people working in the business in Hollywood again produced by ARTE.

So, this may be a choice of the production to go there and have theme talk together.

There is some interesting facts in the video as Zimmer working on Pirates to help a producer that is a friend.

Still nice to view and hear.

    @zimmerito:
While I value your contribution to this forum it is leaning too much to FANDOM. The art of Filmmusic is more than just Hans Zimmer and Media Ventures.
FANDOM becomes boring, overly obsessive and annoying.

YES, we know you are a fan of Zimmer. It is clear to us all now. You might be the best Zimmerfan here yet.

It wouln't hurt to broaden the horizon and make (artistisc) connections other than
    John Williams - Hans Zimmer
    David Arnold - Hans Zimmer
    Alexandre Desplat - Hans Zimmer
    Thomas Newman - Hans Zimmer
    John Debney - Hans Zimmer
    John Carpenter - Hans Zimmer
    Trevor Rabin - Hans Zimmer
    Holst - Hans Zimmer
    Grieg - Hans Zimmer
    Howard Shore - Hans Zimmer

Do you catch my drift? It will enrich the discussion more and provoke less.

We all have a life besides our mutual enjoyment of classical and film music and other genres. No we don't keep minute tabs on the whereabout of Hans Zimmer. Wether he's taking a crap or using Charmin'!

    Foobsie....
You don't have reason in this comment.
And i don't want waste more words with u,because probably say that for my nickname.
I know about all kind of music, and i talk in many NO-zimmer's posts.
If you read my posts you will know i'm not the typical obsessed fan.
Many people here are obsessed with Lord of the rings scores, and I don't post any comment saying bad things.
thanks for your contribuiton in my post. But ,please don't talk with me anymore.
    bye.
    NP:all the 100 hans zimmer's scores together.

you are right Foobsie, the art of Filmmusic is more than just Hans Zimmer and Media Ventures....but itīs also true that the art of film music is more than "Whatīs new in your collection" and "Lord of the rings cue by cue / second by second analysis".
This is a FORUM, and everybody can say whatever, always being respectful with the other people of course. I hate the kind of topics I said before, but I donīt bashīem, I just donīt readīem and go to the next one...itīs such simple as that.
If zimmerito wants to post about Zimmer, I donīt see the problem...you donīt like it, ok, you skip the topic and forget about it.
And letīs be real, any topic concerning Hans Zimmer / MV / James "danger motif" Horner always have a lot of participation. It means all of us canīt see beyond HZ / MV / JH? No, it means we like to discuss about them, and most of times, have a good time reading other people posts.
Anyway, long live to Film Music!

    Actually zimmerito:

The crux of the posting was actually "No we don't keep minute tabs on the whereabout of Hans Zimmer. Wether he's taking a crap or using Charmin'!"

You should get to know me. I am not a bad guy at all. In fact I am a whole lotta fun! Guess I tingled your little toe

    @franz_conrad...

You (like us) don't have friends. Your neighbours wonder why you keep playing that incessive wailing string music and jolt around like you are high on cola swingin' an imaginary baton to your two dinkie toys non-color, non-style and power-matching speakers.

    *giggling*
