The much-hyped teaser trailer is finally online, and it looks quite impressive. There's some great music playing too - anyone know whether it's original?

(The teaser is over at Moviefone - there's a link at www.ComingSoon.net)

Wow. I know absolutely nothing about C.S.Lewis (other than that his was friends with Tolkien), but this looks more than promising!

The books are great Marian - you should give them a look. But start with 'Magician's Nephew' cos chronologically that's the first one and LW&W is second.

Marian, you could watch the movie Shadowlands and learn about Lewis. (Plus hear a great, lovely score by Fenton.)

I thought the trailer looked very good.

Never heard of that...but I've come to the conclusion that Fenton is always good.

I won't have time to read any C.S.Lewis for a while...my pile of books to read should last well through this year. But if the movie turns out to be as good as the trailer promises, I'm pretty sure I'll start reading those books sooner or later.

Just push a couple of them to the top of your list, Marian. They aren't very long. I'm sure you could whip through at least two in a week.

NO--Don't--Do Not read "Magician's Nephew" first!

Lion,Witch and the Wardrobe first. As it really should be.

I started with LW&W ... but I like The Magician's Nephew much better.... Oddly.
But I think I'd agree, that the series should be started with LW&W. It's a nice introduction to the world.

Cains Rexi 2 & Themes for Orchestra and Chorus. Quite popular, although not appropriate for this film, me thinks.
