And i think that because the action piece of woads to ruin sounds much more like the rock.Nick glennie smith is a **** composer, but when he have the themes from other composer sometimes do great things.I don't know...the action piece featured in woads to ruin seems more symphonich than the lately action style of composition by zimmer.
about pearl harbor i knew this credits, airborne track is by zimmer and badelt and 3 or 4 arrengers.is for that,i can't apreciate Ph like a zimmer work.
but coming back...wich is your source about KA music??i'm really interested. Is ice battle (version film) by zimmer?and the heroic theme after the end credits?
thanks sean for you contribuation :P

Source: this will sound stupid, but I don't remember. I remember reading it at several different internet sites when the score and movies came out last year, including this one about who did what. I'm very certain that Nick Glennie-Smith did not write any music in that "Woad to Ruin" piece: it's sounds like Zimmer; to me, it's his showcase of the score, highlighting all of his themes that will be expanded upon in the tracks to come (almost like what he does with "Gladiator Waltz," and I'd argue that the "Woad to Ruin" action material is better than Gladiator) ... and the final piece after the action has subsided (where he does give a brief Spaghetti Western nod to Ennio Morriconne [and only HZ would do that]) is certainly his music: "Arthur and his Knights." And on top of all that: "Woad to Ruin" as a track title is a joke and play on words—only HZ does that, and he does it later too, with "Budget Meeting," and that's pretty funny; John Powell is the only other MV dude who's poked fun with his track titles. I believe the ice battle music is Zimmer's and Rupert Gregson-Williams ... Nick Glennie-Smith definitely did the forest chase, though. The CD is certainly all Zimmer.

zimmerito: explain to me this theme you're talking about in the end credits. Doesn't it go from "All of Them!" into the song "Tell Me Now (What You See)" and that's it? Are you saying there's more unreleased music after the song?

I think he is talking about the music which sounds just after "Tell me Now (What you see)" has ended...it´s King Arthur´s main theme in a "waltz" arrangement, which is indeed great. This "waltz" arrengement of the main theme also appears in the movie, in one of the travel scenes.

The track from beyond rangoon or drop zome composed by nick gleenie smith was exactly like zimmer had composed. And the rock sounds exactly like Hans zimmer.
how you can diference NGS composition?
Are you talking from the truth or from your wishes?
    (sorry for my english)

HAHA! No, I'm not talking from my wishes. The Rock doesn't sound "exactly" like Zimmer. The themes sorta do, especially the themes Zimmer wrote—like track 1 on the CD; a lot of the orchestrations beyond the first track do not sound like Zimmer, they sound like Harry Gregson-Williams and Nick Glennie-Smith, especially in the percussion: HGW for some dumb reason didn't know how to balance his percussive elements in with his synth and orchestra, so the drums sound louder than they should and strangely hide the bulk of his actual notes (listen to "The Chase"). Listen to Nick Glennie-Smith's solo scores and his promos and it'll be easier for you to tell his stuff apart. The point is: he blows and couldn't write a piece like "Woad to Ruin" if his life depended on it.
