Filmmusik showcases a retrospective of over twenty tracks of Larson’s music from controversial and critically-acclaimed films including BOYS DON’T CRY, THE WOODSMAN, DIRTY PRETTY THINGS, HIGH ART and STORYTELLING; and features a new version of “I Want Someone Badly.”
Larson’s highly-regarded career as a film composer began as a member of the influential art-punk band Shudder To Think (HIGH ART, FIRST LOVE LAST RIGHTS). His solo music for the Academy Award®-winning film BOYS DON’T CRY established him as a film-scoring force on his own, and since then, Larson has become a sought-after composer by defining himself through highly acclaimed and challenging work. He has scored more than a dozen groundbreaking and honored films since 1998, and his music for 2004’s THE WOODSMAN starring Kevin Bacon earned him the prestigious Gras Savoye Award at the Cannes Film Festival.Filmmusik Tracks:

Filmmusik is Commotion’s second release under their newly inked distribution deal with Ryko Distribution.
