This just in from Varese's upcoming CD releases:

    ROBOTS
    Original Motion Picture Score

    Music Composed by John Powell

    Ewan McGregor
    Halle Berry
    Greg Kinnear
    Mel Brooks
    Drew Carey
    Amanda Bynes
    and
    Robin Williams

From the makers of ICE AGE.

Twentieth Century Fox, Blue Sky Studios and Academy Award-winning director Chris Wedge, who transported audiences back in history with their box office sensation ICE AGE, have now created the visually spectacular world of ROBOTS — a world filled entirely with whimsical robots. Like ICE AGE, the movie is packed with comedy, incredible visuals and a lot of heart.

ROBOTS is a timeless, comedic tale that pushes the boundaries of animation while introducing characters rich with humor and soul, and a heart-warming story proves that a robot can shine no matter what he is made of.

In addition to Ewan McGregor, Robin Williams, Halle Berry, Mel Brooks and Amanda Bynes, ROBOTS boasts the following ensemble cast: Drew Carey, Jim Broadbent, Paul Giamatti, Jay Leno, Dianne Wiest, Stanley Tucci, Jamie Kennedy, and many others.

The epic, adventurous and fun music score is by composer John Powell and features the eccentric percussion organization Blue Man Group, famous for their groundbreaking, visually stunning, live performances and television appearances.

Following TOY STORY, SHREK, ICE AGE, FINDING NEMO and THE INCREDIBLES, ROBOTS becomes the latest quantum leap in computer animation. ROBOTS opens nationwide on March 11.

Hopefully it's just the trailers, but this film doesn't look that good.

Then you must not have seen SHARK TALE. That has to be one of the best looking, yet terrible animated films in recent years.

I agree, but I blame Will Smith for that one... and the writers.
