Hey all. I spent like an hour putting this thing together. It's two discs. I'd like an opinion of the track selections and hits or misses. Even how I arranged the cd. Thanks!

    Disc 1
    1) Driving Miss Daisy - Driving (Live from Wings of a Film)
    2) True Romance - You're So Cool
    3) Thelma and Louise - Thunderbirds
    4) Point of No Return - Happy Birthday, Maggie
    5) Regarding Henry - Walkin' Talkin' Man
    6) Days of Thunder - Main Title
    7) Drop Zone - Too Many Notes, Not Enough Rests
    8) Black Rain - Nick and Masa
    9) Backdraft - Show Me Your Firetruck
    10) Mission Impossible 2 - Nya and Ethan
    11) Road to Eldorado - Cheldorado
    12) Lion King - Under the Stars

    Disc 2
    1) Pearl Harbor - ...And Then I Kissed Him
    2) Crimson Tide - Roll Tide
    3) Peacemaker - Peacemaker
    4) Thin Red Line - Journey to the Line
    5) Black Hawk Down - Leave No Man Behind
    6) Spirit - Run Free
    7) Last Samurai - Idyll's End
    8) Gladiator - Barbarian Horde
    9) King Arthur - Another Brick in Hardian's Wall
    10) Prince of Egypt - Chariot Race & Finale

Needs some "Pacific Heights" and "Tears of the Sun". Seems like a good break up, not "clumping" the Asian-influenced scores together, or the African-influenced scores together...

I second a PACIFIC HEIGHTS inclusion. In fact, I'll see that and raise you (if you can find it) RADIO FLYER.

Also, I'd go with "...To Die For" from THE LION KING.

And where in the hell is MATCHSTICK MEN?!

On the other hand, kudos for including the unfairly underrated ROAD TO EL DORADO.

"Light" or "The Village/Silence" would be a better inclusion from The Thin Red Line. Those pieces are sublime.

The Fan is a MUST! Probably one of my favorite Zimmer scores. Plus I don't think Matchstick Men is bad at all, lots of fun tracks on there.

Thanks for you're comments guys Beyond Rangoon would be an excellent choice also but for some reason I don't own the score. I have a bootleg of Radio Flyer which was included on my Days of Thunder cd but I really wasn't too impressed with it. Plus the tracks were all a little bit too long for a 2 cd collection. The idea behind it was to span his styles from his earliest works to the current in a CD format. If I did it in MP3 format it would have been all good, except the sound quality isn't that great. I directly ripped the music from my own collection in an uncompressed .wav format and burned the cds in the purest form I could.

GREEN CARD is an absolute must!! I think one of his best eighties scores... Thats only if you like his synth style, which I can never get enough of.
