Borrowed the game Fable from my friend and man is that music great. I walk around right now just listening to it. I will definitely be picking this one up. The composer did a great job keeping with the Elfman feel. I'm impressed.

Mike-type, there are actually three different bonus discs for Baldur's Gate II: Shadows Of Amn. 2 of them have the same label on the disc, white background with gray panels and are marked as Bonus Disc. As you said, the one that comes with the Collector's Edition is the one with the music. There is a third bonus disc that comes with the Baldur's Gate II: The Collection that has the same contents as the regular bonus disc of Shadows Of Amn but with a different disc label. I found this out the hard way... The same madness was apparently executed with Icewind Dale II. There are two different bonus discs there, as well.

I got Laura Karpman's score for EVERQUEST II a couple of days ago. This is the most impressive work I've heard for a computer game, it's a very good orchestral score in a modernist-classical style. Very Alex North. Very impressionistic. I love it and can't stop playing it. Such imaginative orchestral colours. Highly recommended!!!!

Wow, Mikael... I had no idea Laura Karpman was the composer for Everquest II. That definitely increases my interest.

Wow, I got really lucky with the Everquest II soundtrack. I found it on eBay for less than $9 and that included shipping. In point of fact, I got the Collector's Edition of the game for less than $9, with the soundtrack. The CD has 28 tracks and runs over 79 minutes.

Some customers have asked me to get them the World of Warcraft soundtrack in the store, and did so. I purchased a few extra copies, so if you are interested there are a few in the store now:

$30 at Amazon, $20 from MM, or $16-$17 ($10 + shipping) direct from the label....

4 years old at least, but good music stands the test of time.... like a good ______

It's okay, but on the whole very droning and meandering... this comes from someone who has all of albums: World of Warcraft, The Burning Crusade, and The Wrath of the Lich King. It was best when Jason Hayes, Tracy Bush and original Warcraft composer Glenn Stafford were around to write the music. Now, Russell Brower is the lead guy and he takes most of his cues (no pun intended) from what those guys did, except it doesn't sound as great.
