Pre-purchase the Extended Edition soundtrack to the 2004 Movie Version of Andrew Lloyd Webber's "The Phantom of the Opera", and Amazon'll let you preview the entire album in streaming audio.

Haven't tried it yet, just passin' on the info. And of course, noone over at the official movie site's messagboard has commented on the score in-depth.

I just preordered the 2cd extended edition, and the streaming soundtrack they give you is actually from the regular single disc edition. Oh well -- I'm finding even the regular album to be quite good.

    Mark,

How are the vocals? From the samples I've picked up online I found them not as powerful as the original cast versions. That may work better for the intimacy of a film, but I'm not completely sure.

I've heard the Minnie Driver song "Learn To Be Lonely" and found it to be utter crap.

Well, so far Christine and Raoul seem fine. The Phantom seems a little weak, but his sound could grow on me.
