Well of the following track listing:

    1. Sway - Pussycat Dolls
    2. Santa Maria (Del Buen Ayre) - Go Tan Project
    3. Happy Feet
    4. Espana Cani
    5. I Wanna (Shall We Dance) - Gizelle D'Cole and Pilar Montenegro
    6. Perfidia
    7. Under the Bridges of Paris
    8. Moon River
    9. Andelucia
    10. Book Of Love - Peter Gabriel
    11. L Train
    12. I Could Have Danced All Night - Jamie Cullum
    13. Wonderland - Rachel Fuller
    14. Shall We Dance
    15. Let's Dance - Mya

Only track 11, L Train, is a Yared composition. It runs a whopping 2:02.

It's kinda sad as I remember hearing quite a bit of underscore from Yared when I saw the film several weeks back at a sneak preview.

Perhaps we'll see a Miramax Academy Promo, similar to what we got on "Cold Mountain."

The other instrumentals on the CD are all song adaptations/arrangements by John Altman.

Most of the actual dramatic score was done by Yared and recorded in England.

What's with all this Yared avoidance? Will the man ever see a decent album release again?

There's a certain somebody (Me!) that could use a CDR of that Cold Mountain promo.

I just saw TWO BROTHERS which had a score by Stephen Warbeck but in the credits was a cue by Yared. Did he write a whole score and get it rejected as TROY was?

The COLD MOUNTAIN Academy Promo is often at auction on eBay. I got mine rather cheap. Less than $15.00.

As for TWO BROTHERS, Yared was going to score the film, but TROY got in the way so he dropped out. Then of course we all know how that turned out.

Yared's themes are sweet and melancholy. I wish the album had more of his music. The source music in the movie is quite good, and the various uses for Roger's Shall We Dance are wonderful. It is a feel good, delightful movie.

    I love a lot of Yared's work.

Most recent buy of his scores is POSSESSION....a total 'must have' in my opinion!
