We got 2 score/songs CDs coming from Varese.

I think the Mychael Danna looks more promising than the Edelman.

P.S. I was hoping someone would do Shearmur's "Wimbleton" score. It was recorded in London afterall.

There is, however, one problem: the people living there now are not Drew’s family. Nevertheless, Drew has his mind set on an old-fashioned family Christmas, and the fact that the “family” in question, the Valcos, are complete strangers, isn’t about to put a crimp in his plans. Offering them a small fortune, Drew bribes his newfound “parents” (James Gandolfini and Catherine O’Hara) to let him spend Christmas in their home, pretending to be part of the family. Just when the Valcos begin to question if any amount of money is worth being dragged all over town on such traditional family holiday excursions as Christmas shopping and the requisite choosing of the Christmas tree, their eldest daughter Alicia (Christina Applegate) comes home for the holidays, with no intention of adopting a new “brother.”

    • The film and soundtrack feature such holiday classics as Judy Garland’s Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas and Andy Williams’ The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

    • Also features Happy Holidays, Jingle Bell Rock, Santa Claus Is Coming to Town plus selections from Randy Edelman’s joyful and triumphant score!

    • DreamWorks opens Surviving Christmas nationwide on October 22.

    BEING JULIA
    Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

    Music Composed by Mychael Danna

    Annette Bening
    Jeremy Irons
    Shaun Evans
    Michael Gambon

Featuring such classic period songs as:

    Smoke Gets In Your Eyes,
    Mad About the Boy,
    They Didn’t Believe Me,
Yes Yes My Baby Yes Yes,
Life Is Just a Bowl of Cherries
    And more!

“Mychael Danna’s score is old-fashioned in the best possible way as it stays in the background yet lets the romance of a mythical life of theater and champagne seep through along with a soundtrack of classic standards from that period.” — Hollywood Reporter

Being Julia is a delicious tale of amorous folly and revenge set in the world of the London stage in the late 1930s. Based on the novel Theatre by W. Somerset Maugham, it is the story of reigning diva Julia Lambert whose success and fame grow suddenly wearisome. She falls head over heels for a young American, Tom, and begins a passionate May-December affair. When she realizes that Tom is just a young social climber whose real passion is ambitious young starlet Avice Crichton, Julia begins to plot a delightful revenge. A Dangerous Liaisons set in the glittering world of London theatre, Being Julia is at once playful, sexy and viciously satisfying.

The film prominently features performances of such classic standards as Mad About the Boy, Smoke Gets In Your Eyes, Life Is Just A Bowl of Cherries and They Didn’t Believe Me. The score by Mychael Danna is absolutely lovely.

This acclaimed film from Sony Pictures Classics begins a limited roll out on October 15, which will expand across the country over the following weeks.
