I was watching 'Visions of Light' yesterday and a song playing in the background kept hitting me. It sounded so familiar! I looked it up and found that the song is called 'Aquarium' from "Carnival of Animals". Does anyone know if this song was featured in a film at any time??? Help me!

It's used to great effect in Days of Heaven from 1978. I'll always associate the movie with this music.

Also used a year earlier in The Spy Who Loved Me....

A very similar piece of music was composed for the prologue sequence of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Temp music perhaps?

It not only appears in the opening credits, but Morricone adopts elements of it into his main theme if I recall rightly. Days of Heaven really is one of the best looking and sounding films ever made.

Also used beautifully in Nigel Westlake's criminally underrated BABE score (I want this so badly, with NO dialogue!!)

Haven't seen the film in a long time but are you sure it's not Saint Saens Symphony # 3 'The Organ' your thinking of?!
