    My favorite Bernstein cue/placement: the moment Jem & Scout discover the soap dolls in the knothole of the old tree. Priceless. Penetrating. Heart-filled.

    Like Goldsmith, he was born to score a Twilight Zone or two. But unlike Goldsmith, he never did. Rats.
