For those of you on the board who are fans of the great Barry Gray and enjoyed the Thunderbirds Vol 1 CD as much as I did, dont forget in 2-3 days the 2nd volume is to be released. If you cant wait till then Play.Com are advertising it as being released tomorrow 17/07/04. Not sure which date is correct but not much longer to wait anyway.
Visit SilvaScreen for track listings.

Show off ;-)That Hiker's Opening cue almost sounded like the cheesy stuff for season 1 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer by Walter Murphy.

Jonathan, what the hell are you bitching about?
a) You won't be buying it. Do you buy anything?
b) You aren't the producer so you haven't put any money into it. In other words, you haven't lost anything at all.

Gae! Welcome back! Hope you stick around this time (and I also sincerely hope that your health is getting back to normal - didn't you have an inner ear problem or something which made even playing the piano bothersome?)You know, you've made me feel humble and even a bit useless. There's you out there struggling against your ear ailment, yet getting useful stuff done like composing music and making CDs (I clicked on a few of your selections - good stuff! I hear your "influences". You DO like Goldsmith's THE LAST RUN, don't you!?), plus getting out in the Welsh mid-winter and making movies! And here's me sitting around complaining about how I didn't like the latest movies I've seen in the cinema. By the way, your comments over at the Horror Movie site reminded me of my only masterpiece - "Monster From The Bleak Unknown", shot in a Scottish mid-winter on 8mm - with no editing facilities (this movie was edited "live" on-camera). My friend Shuggy was the monster (with a lampshade on his head), and my brother played "the balloon man". But, of course, if I was Ed Wood for a day, you were Orson Welles. Or at least Roger Corman.
Looking forward to that THUNDERBIRDS release. Barry Gray was so great.

Thanks Graham, I had a suspicion you'd been visiting my web-site when my tracking counter statistic showed someone from Spain had visited the site!!
It could only be one person I thought...thanks for taking the time.
The Inner ear problem was a viral infection compounded by a condition called "Meniere's Disease". Too much sitting at the computer screen probably scrolling through page after page of e-Bay I guess. Quite often sitting at the Computer or Piano, I get episodes of, usually, mild vertigo lasting only a split second. I think its just something that will recur from time to time unless I change my habits. The pleasures of aging also I guess.
With regards to the CD and Movie, I like to keep myself busy and being single I have plenty of spare time during the holidays to be creative!
Hopefully might earn a few extra pennies from it too.
Nice to hear about your film. Filming and editing with 8mm is difficult, I did a couple of things at College. Its so much easier doing it digitally on a Computer.
Even a free program with XP like Movie Maker is a pretty good editing suite which allows you to do editing as well as special effects and titles.
I'm looking forward to the "Thunderbirds 2" CD a lot. I haven't bought it yet cos I have to be really frugal with my money with only having one income and being self-employed. No money for a couple of weeks while I take a much deserved holiday. If its not reduced in a month or two I'll buy it anyway. I'm a patient guy!!
Take care
