It’s about time the Big Guy got the soundtrack release he’s always deserved! Digitally Mastered and available for the first time in North America, this is the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to the classic 1954 film GODZILLA, featuring the complete, original score by famed composer Akira Ifukube, (who is celebrating his 90th birthday this year). I went and saw Godzilla on Father's Day and I will say it was a treat to see it on the big screen. I had forgotten just how much was changed for the US version.I have the original soundtrack but I will get this one.
Thanks!!!!

Also: the music has been remastered and all the sound effects and/or dialouge has been edited out of this version, unlike the Japanese version which included those elements on certain tracks.MV

That's great to know. That's one thing that I really didn't like about the original, especially the track with the little girl crying.[Message edited by Mark Olivarez on 07-13-2004]

Supreme kudos to La La Land for this release
Many G-Fans have had to put up with a lack of availability for many of the film soundtracks. Can't wait to pick this up!
