Got a question, picked up this disc today and track 4 sounds like it has some music issues. If I remember right they were in the film so it's normal, just confirming.

What issues? Is it the pausing? Because it was like that in the film.

I think it's the Rota-esque orchestration. Try listening with your headphones on and you'll noticed that it's probably an instrument or a sound of something mixed in there (maybe even an accordion playing a strange note). Although it is also possible that you have a faulty CD.
However, I don't know what you mean exactly by "music issues" so it could be something else.

Brian is probably referring to digital problems, like what we've seen with Hellboy recently. Compression, digital hooha, etc.

Although a few Varese releases have had that problem, I don't think Matchstick Men is one of them. I haven't noticed any problems. I know Zimmer likes to use interesting sounds in his scores so maybe that's what it is.

"Matchstick Men" is a beautiful-sounding CD with no sound problems at all.

In fact, the only newer CD in recent memory that had sound problems was Young's "The Tower," but only one other guy besides myself posted about such problems.
