Can anyone help me with a couple of questions about these two films and some music in them?

Does anyone remember the music from the movie, "The Enemy Below", that Curt Jergens tells Theodore Bikel "Hiney" to play loud while they are being bombarded with depth charges, and what the name of that song is?

Also, in the movie, "Battle of the Bulge". Does anyone know the name of the song/march which Robert Shaw, the Commander of the Panzer Division starts, to pick up the morale of his obviously young Panzer crew members, and they all join in while stomping their feet to the beat of the song/march?

And, if possible....does anyone know where the heck I can find these songs on CD?  Anybody know what I'm talking about here???

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Don't know about the song in THE ENEMY BELOW, but the song in BATTLE OF THE BULGE is the "Panzerlied." You can get a recording of it here: http://www.reichslieder.com/german_marching_music.html

    Click on WWII, then Panzer.

I'd wager the song in THE ENEMY BELOW could be found here, too. Maybe it's the U-Boat Lied?

Incidently, The Enemy Below (which was composed by Leigh Harline) is being released by Intrada as a limited edition of 1000 according to Roger Feigelson

    INTRADA Announces:

    THE ENEMY BELOW
Composed and Conducted by LEIGH HARLINE
    INTRADA Special Collection Volume 15

    20th Century Fox's 1957 battle-of-the-wills feature ENEMY BELOW tells
the compelling tale of a showdown between an American destroyer and a
German U-boat. Robert Mitchum plays the destroyer captain and Kurt
Jurgens portrays the U-boat commander, each of whom is given equal story
time as they try to blow each other out of the water.

Leigh Harline, most noted for his Disney scores to SNOW WHITE and
PINOCCHIO, spotlights the action with powerful low brass music for the
German sub and rousing military music for the U.S. destroyer. Harline
confined his scoring to tactical operations and maneuvers between the
dueling warships...the action of the film. Once the final battle is
engaged, Harline's score plays wall-to-wall for nearly nineteen minutes
of intense action. The struggle filters into the music, with strident
minor mode variations on the destroyer theme competing with the
thrusting trombone chords of the submarine motif. Much of this exciting
music became familiar when re-used in later Irwin Allen TV projects,
such as "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea."

INTRADA presents the complete score for THE ENEMY BELOW in stereo from
the multi-track magnetic masters preserved in excellent condition in the
20th Century-Fox music vaults. This Special Collection release also
features "bonus tracks" of Harline's fully-composed "radar blips",
Jurgens and crew in a patriotic song, marching music and detailed liner
    notes by Jeff Bond.

This volume is limited to 1000 copies.
