LAWS OF ATTRACTION - LLLCD 1019

The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to the romantic-comedy LAWS OF ATTRACTION, starring Pierce Brosnan (DIE ANOTHER DAY, GOLDENEYE, THOMAS CROWN AFFAIR) and Julianne Moore (BOOGIE NIGHTS, NINE MONTHS). This charming orchestral score, brilliantly performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra, is by Edward Shearmur (THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO, JOHNNY ENGLISH, MISS CONGENIALITY, CHARLIE’S ANGELS, and the upcoming SKY CAPTAIN AND THE WORLD OF TOMORROW). Mr. Shearmur’s beautiful, Gershwin-esque, Celtic-tinged score bubbles with all the heart and whimsy of this delightful romantic comedy.

COMING SOON: An amazing 2CD-Set of composer Richard Jacques’ scores to both the forthcoming Sega videogame HEADHUNTER: REDEMPTION and the original, worldwide-hit HEADHUNTER game. Also, composer Brian Tyler takes on a wild trip through THE BIG EMPTY, and coming late July will be a very special 50th Anniversary Collector’s Edition CD to commemorate the “Biggest” movie star of all time: Gojira a.k.a GODZILLA! This very special release will consist of the score to the original 1954 film, which is currently being shown in theaters Nationwide.

Great — I really enjoyed the few things I heard of Carlo Siliotto until now, especially 'O PATRONE D'O CANE', an orchestral "divertimento" which is not a soundtrack but also very narrative music, released by the french label Cinéfonia Records.

I am very curious to hear what he has done on THE PUNISHER.

    Thanks La La Land !

THE PUNISHER was a wonderful score. I'll definitely be getting this. It'll be great when the sound clips to go up so the legions of people who avoided this film will get to hear a bit of it.

Great score. The theme sounds like the theme for The Rock gone Ennio.

Overall I feel .. blah. It wasnm't bad, thank goodness, but I just felt it wasn't too special. Though it jsut might be the clip selections and shorteness.

And you are right G-man, it has a theme. Almost too strong. It like the composer is saying, "Look at me! I have a theme. A theme!" lol.

Give me Brannigan anyday. Seriously, I don't have much money, give me Brannigan!

I llok forward to Siliotto’s future endevours. They might prove to be of interest.

    Only my opinion.

No, thank god, after the horrible things I have heard about it.

And if you are going to pull a "Ford" and talk about how it worked in the movie, that is irrelevant. I am talking aabout it and a seperate listening experience.

How could it be irrelevant? The music was written for a specific purpose, to be used in the movie. It has to first work in the movie. And leave Ford out of this. Have you read ANY books on critical thinking?

I just said. It's irrelevant when IT'S A SEPERATE LISTENING EXPERIENCE.

I assume you saw it that time.

Have you read any books on Thinking - in general?

I thought the movie was good. Better than I expected. Nothing ground breaking. But still good. The score works great in the film. Just like Bubba Ho-Tep is a great score, but when you hear the music in the movie. It's fantastic. By the way, Bubba Ho-Tep is a great movie. Everyone should see it.

Punisher is now in stock. All Punisher orders have been shipped (unless you ordered it with Terror Tract, then it will ship later this week).

The autographed copies are sold out. Thanks to all who pre-ordered.

Next up is the complete score to the 1954 Masterpiece GODZILLA. The cd will run a little over 40 minutes. We are currently working with Toho pulling any and all elements to make this a must have for any self respecting G-Fan out there! I must say, I'm having a blast working on this one.
