I know this is an ancient score, but what do you guys think of it. It's still a mystery to me how Vince Dicola wrote this (and the Transformers) score and then seemed to be wiped off the face of the universe.

I mean, granted, it's all 80's cheeseball synth, but what invigorating music. I'd be surprised if anyone here genuinely DISliked it.

    What do you guys think?

Is this the one where Rocky went to Russia to fight against Dolph The Punisher?

The Transformer's score was pretty damn good IMHO.

DiCola released the CD "In-vince-ible" a couple of years ago. You can buy it at www.tdrsmusic.com . It's kind of a compilation CD, with both instrumental music in the Rocky IV style and rock music with vocals.

I love this score! I have "The Rocky Story" compilation CD with it. Is there another disc that has more of his music? He did Transformers? Man, I have get this stuff!

Speaking of people from the 80's, whatever happened to Harold Faltermeyer? It's like only Hans Zimmer became famous of him, Flatermeyer, and Klaus Doldinger, correct?

    And Sylvester Levay !
An instrumental complilation of Faltermeyer would be much appreciated.

I think Faltermeyer's main problem was that he sucked. I mean, sure, Top Gun is classic in its own way, but most of his other scores were sheer stinkers.
