I'm not quite sure what the critera are for "Dark" scores (motifs in minor keys?)--but here's a few of what I think may qualify...

    Fargo, Hamlet - Carter Burwell.
Enemy of the State - Trevor Rabin & Harry Gregson-Williams.
    The Crow - Graeme Revell.
    The Skulls - Randy Edelman.
    Unbreakable - James Newton Howard.

Before I clicked on the topic, I pondered that the topic was "Dark Action Scores", so I considered scores like the following might be the topic at hand:

    The Peacemaker - Hans Zimmer.
    The Shadow - Jerry Goldsmith.
Man in the Iron Mask - Nick Glennie-Smith.
    Hard Rain - Christopher Young.
    Volcano - Alan Silvestri.

I'm quite fond of Alan Silvestri's soundtrack to the movie "Judge Dredd"

As far as action scores go I quite enjoy Drop Zone and Daylight (guilty pleasures)

    and dark scores:
    Sleepy Hollow
    Darkman

(how come I immediately think of Early Elfman when it comes to "dark" scores?)
