The "Top 1000" music thread gave me an idea for another silly game - but here you'll have to use brains - and perhaps imagination too - to continue the list!!

    Like this:

BIG (1988, music by Howard Shore)
    >> BIG FISH (2003, music by Danny Elfman)
    >>>> A FISH CALLED WANDA (1988, music by John Du Prez)

So the idea is that the first word of the following movie title has to be the last word of the previous movie title (THE", "A", "AN" not included). But, if - as in this case - there may not be a movie title beginning with "WANDA", then the following title must start with another word from the previous title (in this case CALLED, CALL, or FISH). If a sequel title ends with a number, then the next title should begin with that number. OR, then you can just use your imagination and continue the list with whatever movie title (or score) comes FIRST in your mind inspired by the previous title.

Let's try this without getting too serious!

    KEN

To continue the Ruth strain (and I really had to pull this one out of my butt):

    CITIZEN RUTH (Rolfe Kent, 1996)

    for Polo:

POLO JOE (Howard Jackson, M.K. Jerome, 1936)
(yes, it's a real movie, and in fact, the coposers went uncredited until they were listed by historians. The film is largely a piece for those who love early cinema, and specifically the center piece of this one, Joe E. Brown).

Next would be WANDA NEVADA (1979, Ken Lauber)
NEVADA SMITH (1966, Alfred Newman) and ending with SMITH! (1969, Robert F. Brunner).

FYI...I only used IMDb for the last one.

I couldn't think of one that began with so I invoked the "get out clause":

    An alternative could be:

    THE FLINTSTONES (1994, David Newman)
