Good job, Philipp, but your list jumps from 171 to 174 (though I don't think there are any missing titles). So we should be subtracting again.

    2 x 238? That's 295! So -

295 - LORD OF THE RINGS (Leonard Rosenman, 1978)

296 - THE TAKING OF PELHAM 123 (David Shire, 1974)

297 - THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR (Gil Mellé, 1975)

...and slip in the second 238 as 294.

Let's not allow this thread to die so young. I'm saying that because a few of you have to post before I can post again (rules are rules, and Philip broke them and should be banned, and banished into a Lovecraftian hell).

Allrighty then, here's my three cents. Apologies for not keeping count.

    LIFEFORCE (Mancini)
OMEN III: THE FINAL CONFLICT (Goldsmith)
RAMBO: FIRST BLOOD PART TWO (Goldsmith)

As an aside, somebody mentioned Rambo 3 but nobody seems to have mentioned the infinitely superior Rambo 2 yet - what's that all about?

NP: Alien (complete score, laserdisc transfer)

Still need more people to post before I can can continue with my drivel, according to the rules. Come on folks, don't be shy, these aren't the best soundtracks of all time but rather the ones we MovieMusic weirdos like most. We're going for 1000.

Only three people have posted since I last put up some scores - and that's counting Phillip twice - so I can't be the one who posts here next.

Though if I were, I would put:

Anna and the King (Fenton) - 1999
House of Sand and Fog (Horner) - 2003
Dangerous Beauty aka A Destiny of Her Own aka The Honest Courtesan aka RKO 2811 (Fenton) - 1998

Ok, the last six items on the list are unnumbered, so:

    307. LIFEFORCE (Mancini)
    308. OMEN III: THE FINAL CONFLICT (Goldsmith)
    309. RAMBO: FIRST BLOOD PART TWO (Goldsmith)
    310. Anna and the King (Fenton) - 1999
    311. House of Sand and Fog (Horner) - 2003
    312. Dangerous Beauty aka A Destiny of Her Own aka The Honest Courtesan aka RKO 2811 (Fenton) - 1998

And in honour of me, for the resurrection of the languishing masterlist, I will take my next go immediately following my last go and what's more take two turns for the price of one:

    313. Cleopatra (Jones) - 2000
    314. The Mighty (Jones) - 1999
    315. Chouans! (Delerue) - 1988
    316. Surviving Picasso (Robbins) - 1996
    317. Troy (Gabriel Yared rejected score) - 2004
    318. True Confessions (Delerue) - I don't know the year

SO COME ONE, COME ALL. MANY GREAT SCORES REMAIN UNNAMED IN THE GREAT MOVIEMUSIC.COM MASTERLIST. LAST ONE TO A THOUSAND IS A ROTTON EGG!

It would have been more straightforward to have posters list 1000 titles and throw out the duplicates.

    Two words: "server side."

Well... we're a bit far down the road for that to happen. And anyway, this thread could go on to be one of the greats - more than 10 pages to its name! Though admittedly progress has been a little lax of late for that to seem terribly likely at the moment.
