Then 153. The House on Sorority Row (Richard Band, 1982) should have been 154.

Another problem we are having is keeping this thing in order.

The more we add, the more difficult it's going to be to sort thru and make sure you don't repeat something that already been posted. It's going to take about 300+ posts to get a 1000 with only 3 scores listed per post.

Can we come up with 1000 scores that are actually worthy???

If everybody could only post twice, then this thread would only be about one page long and would never IN HELL get to 1000. Oh well, who cares.

"I was hoping to find some titles I was unfamiliar with and could look into, but too many titles on this list seem to have been supplied by people who have only listened to about 100 scores in their life."

OR people who love composers you've never heard of (and are apparently not willing to look into).

If we had more than 40 regular posters, say 400, then one person only posting 2 or 3 times would be appropriate, but I figured that once every five posts for everybody would make a top 1000 list faster. Anyway, this was just supposed to be mildly diverting, and maybe something fun for everyone here that is tired of the same old thing on these boards. Something interactive that has to do with the kind of music we love so much sounded fun. I'm sorry for moving you to making such a harsh critique of my thread, firefox. Farewell.

Oh my god, you're taking this way too seriously. It was meant to be fun and interactive, not a serious, full-scale assessment on what IS the greatest of all time, but what is the best or favorites according to our fine members here. This was by no means meant to be a serious deduction. You and I probably have a lot in common, and I don't want to start a brawl with a fellow film enthusiast and score collector.
If you want to take over this thread and write new rules, go ahead. Or better yet, start a new thread.

    Dylan

Yeah, going to 1,000 is going to be impossible without the same people posting more and more scores or scores being repeated.
