i've gotten it confirmed with a Lion's Gate representative that they will indeed release Alexandre Desplat's terrific (and Golden Globe nominated) score for Girl with a Pearl Earring. she told me to get back to her in a week or so, and then she'd be able to tell me a release date.excellent news. wonderful score.

I had mentioned in another thread that Lions Gate Records is releasing this score, however, it appears in the UK is it being released by Decca.Go to: http://www.deccaclassics.com/music/soundtracks/girlwithapearlearring.html
to hear clips and see artwork, etc.
It's a beautiful score and one hopes we'll hear when we'll see it on our shores.
