I saw this today. I enjoyed it alot. It was a sweet and funny movie, not as great as As Good As It Gets, but I had a good time and so did my GF. Diane and Jack had some good chemistry together, and they almost convinced me that Jack should be with Diane in real life. Amanda Peet's role was small albeit significant. Keanu's role was destined to be left behind but I thought he brought some genuine stuff along with the ride. The story had some predictable moment, but that is expected like most comedy, and I didn't mind it anyway.
The score, by Hans Zimmer, was appropriate. Given that this is a Nancy Meyer film, most of the crucial scenes had songs playing underneath, and the rest had scores. The main thematic passage is a reinvention, yes, a reinvention of a subpassage element from As Good As It Gets crossed with some Riding In Cars With Boys orchestrations, along with some subtle Matchstick Men stuff (though, with the latter, I don't know whether that was source cues or not). In term of underscoring the scene, this is something Hans can do easily. In term of listenability, it's Hans, and it's nice to listen to anyway. There is enough material for a 30 minute Varese album , which I won't mind buying.
So... movie wise, 4/5 stars, due to the chemistry between Diane and Jack, and the story, an sweet and often funny tale that makes you laugh and cry many time over. \
Score wise, 3/5 stars. A nice score, that doesn't break any ground, not that it should, but is servicable in context and should make for a good album out of context.

ps. Sean, if you're reading this, I couldn't get her to see Paycheck, but I did convince her to see it with me next week
