By the way. Do you guys think you could release another orchestral score to a game called Headhunter by Richard Jacques? http://www.richardjacques.co.uk/

Will this also be the place to find Lennertz' "Rising Sun" addition to the MOH series?

HEADHUNTER is really fantastic. Nice mix of contempo stuff with full orchestra.

MOH: RISING SUN I believe will follow the release pattern of previous MOH albums, but isn't slated until early 2004. RISING SUN was recorded in Los Angeles with union musicians (big $$$).

Look for my main theme music video on one of the two SWON discs!!!

Rising Sun should be available in February or March in conjunction with the MOH: Pacific Assault video game release!

It's a possibility. It's an amazing score that deserves a retail release. However, I'm wondering if the market was flooded with givaways when the game came out. Does anyone know if a free soundtrack came with the game?

A little OT, but I must say that that I enjoy this personal attention from LA LA Land record to the buyer. This may be premature but it seems that you care and that you really want to give us what we're asking for. Varese should wake up and do the same.

Now, if you can get that Richard Jacques score released

LA LA Land should release the video game score to Evil Dead: Hail to the King.. it was a great video game score. The soundtrack was suppose to be released officially, but the record label company went bankrupt.

It's a play on words of the old saying, "From your lips to God's ears." Meaning, if you say it, God hears it and makes it happened.

Yes Lord, I'd love a release of Les Baxter's FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER/PIT AND THE PENDULUM scores, and, pretty please, a complete MASTER OF THE WORLD, not a reissue of the old, botched VEEJAY edition that only contains about one-third of this terrific score.

    Thanks, God.

    Lalala,

I've been waiting for the 7 Faces of Dr. Lao since I first saw the movie, when I was a kid. It's good to hear from you that the Harline score is going to see the light of existence. Congratulations for your enterprise!

Let us know if the integral work will be released or just highlights.

    Best,

    Dr. Lao

There was never a free soundtrack.

However, there was a limited promotional copy of the score that Richard sent out to people.

    Best regards,

    Joe

What happened to La La Land's proposed release of Brian Tyler's Bubba Ho-Tep? There's no mention of it now. Has it been postphoned or cancelled? Anyone know?

Postponed for the time being. More news to follow once we know. In the meantime SWON and Brannigan will be out late November/early December. Pal will be out late Dec/early Jan. Also in January is Michael Suby's score to BUTTERFLY EFFECT (a surprisingly brilliant time travel movie. . .it reminded me of Donnie Darko in its tone and style) and THE BEST OF LONE WOLF AND CUB.

I'd definitely buy a copy of Headhunter if it were released. Isn't Richard Jacques currently working on the sequel score for Headhunter: Redemption. Might make for an interesting 2 CD set...

Oh, and one more possible score to throw out there: Michael Giacchino's score to SIN. Not sure if the movie's ever going to get relesed, but just judging from the clips at Giacchino's site, I'd buy the score in a heartbeat.

    That he is.

If you liked Headhunter, like myself, you'll definitely enjoy his new music.
