I got this suberp compilation today, and am loving every minute of it, as well as the very interesting liner notes.

At one point, Townson mentions that before Goldsmith performs Gathering of Forces from Viva Zapata!, he often tells the audience to look out for a melody which is very similar to a popular song from a musical.

Any ideas? I think I know which tune he's referring to, and it sure does sound familiar, but otherwise I'm blank.

    Thanks.

That would be "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" which Andrew Lloyd Webber "wrote" for "Evita."
